Conditions of participation for the Veto competition

These conditions of participation apply to all sweepstakes conducted on the VETO Nails Instagram page and on the VETO Nails Facebook page.

2. eligibility

Only professional nail designers over 18 years of age residing in Germany or Austria who present a valid trade license as well as proof of training (Basic Training Certificate or higher) are eligible to participate.

Employees of VETO Nails GmbH, as well as the possibly involved cooperation partners are excluded from participation.

By participating in the competition, the participant accepts our general terms of use and our conditions of participation.

Participation in our competition is only possible in one's own name. A transfer of winnings to third parties is excluded. A prerequisite for participation in the competition is that all personal details provided to us are true.

From 01.05.2022 up to and including 31.07.2022 (promotion period), the persons entitled to participate according to these conditions of participation can participate in the sweepstakes under Facebook & Instagram, on the respective fan pages of VETO Nails.

Closing date is the 31.07.2022 / 23.59 clock.

4 Implementation and processing

To participate in the VETO Nails sweepstakes, the participant must become a fan of the VETO Nails page (Facebook and/or Instagram - depending on the sweepstakes) and fulfill the other conditions of participation.

Only one entry per participant is permitted per sweepstakes. It is prohibited to use multiple comments or multiple Facebook/Instagram profiles to increase the chances of winning.

5 Winning, notification and transmission of the prize.

The following prizes will be awarded:

Instagram Sweepstakes:

1x Color gel set with 9 color gels from the TROPICAL COLLECTION.

1x Fashion Bag TROPICAL

Facebook Sweepstakes:

1x color gel set with 9 color gels from the FASHIONISTA COLLECTION

1x Fashion Belly Bag ROCKER GIRL

The winners will be determined after the closing date in a random draw among all participants.

If the competition is linked to a task (e.g. answer to a prize question), only participants who have completed the task correctly will be entered into the draw.

The winner of the raffle will be notified by VETO Nails GmbH / Frank Schäberle within one week after the closing date by private message on the respective social media channel (Facebook / Instagram).

In case of undeliverable notification, VETO Nails is not obligated to make further inquiries and may determine a new winner. If the winner does not respond within one week after the notification of the prize, VETO Nails GmbH is equally entitled to determine a new winner.

The delivery of the prize will be made exclusively to the winner. An exchange, a self-collection as well as a cash payment of the prize are not possible.

Material prizes will be sent to the winner by GLS to his home address, the shipping costs for this will be borne by VETO Nails GmbH. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.

In case of a notification of the prize, the winner is obliged to provide his personal data (name, address, trade license and proof of education) to VETO Nails GmbH, via email to info@veto-nails.de.

6. termination of the competition

VETO Nails GmbH expressly reserves the right to interrupt or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons and to adjust these conditions of participation.

7. data protection

For participation in the sweepstake, the provision of personal (personal) data is necessary. The participant assures that the personal data provided by him/her, in particular first name, last name, postal address, trade license and proof of training are true and correct. In the case of non-cash prizes, further personal data, such as the address, will be requested from the winners after the end of the competition as part of the notification of the prize.

The collection and processing of personal data is used exclusively to carry out the competition and, if necessary, to send the prizes. All data will only be stored for the purpose and for the duration of the competition and will be deleted at the end of the campaign, unless there is a legal obligation to keep records.

The personal data of the participants will neither be passed on to third parties nor given to them for use without their consent.

In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the website of the organizer and its social media platforms.

8. Facebook/Instagram Disclaimer

The competition is not connected to Facebook or Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Facebook/Instagram. The contact person and person responsible is solely Veto Nails GmbH.

9 Liability

Veto Nails GmbH is not liable for damages caused by errors, delays or interruptions in the transmission, in case of malfunctions of technical equipment and service, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses or in any other way during the participation in the sweepstakes, unless such damages were caused by the organizer (its bodies, employees or vicarious agents) intentionally or through gross negligence. The above limitation of liability shall not apply in the event of injury to life, limb or health or in the event of fraudulently concealed defects.

10 Applicable law

The competition is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

11. severability clause

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Participation. In place of the invalid provision, the legally permissible provision that comes closest in economic terms to the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same shall apply in the event of a loophole in these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
